人参炖汤Double-Boiled Ginseng Soup

【材料】
菜园鸡1只(约1.5公斤,斩块)、去籽红枣5粒、螺片80克、无花果5粒、鲜人参3小块、滚水6杯、盐1/2茶匙或适量

【做法】
1. 把材料放入炖锅,然后加入鸡肉和滚水。
2. 炖锅外层倒入适量的水,隔水炖2-3小时;若是用电子砂煲则是4小时(慢火)。
3. 以盐调味,趁热吃。

【小贴士】
鲜人参可在巴杀买到,也可用干人参代替。

【Ingredients】
1.5kg kampong chicken (cut into bite size), 5 seedless red dates, 80g conch slices, 5 dried figs, 3 small pieces fresh ginseng, 6 cups boiling water, 1/2 tsp salt or to taste

【Method】
1.Place ingredients in upper pot of a double-boiler with chicken and boiling water.
2.Fill lower pot with enough boiling water. Place upper pot into lower pot and double-boil for 2-3 hours or cook in a slow cooker for 4 hours on low.
3.Season to taster and serve soup hot.
