珍珠黑加仑茶Blackcurrant Tea with sago pearls

【材料】
黑加仑茶精2包、滚水250毫升、明列子2茶匙、粗沙谷米(白珍珠)100克、冰块

【做法】
1.把明列子洗净,然后以2-3汤匙滚水浸泡至发起,依量采用。
2.煮开2公升清水,放入白珍珠,以中火煮30分钟即熄火,加盖,让它焖20分钟至变透明。若部分没有完全透明,再煮再焖。
3.把白珍珠滤干,再用冷水冲洗,然后滴干。
4.把黑加仑茶精倒入容器中,加滚水冲泡至精粉完全溶解。
5.舀1汤匙的白珍珠及少许明列子入玻璃杯。
6.加入冰块,然后倒入黑加仑茶即可。

2 sachets Boh Blackcurrant Ice Tea, 250ml hot boiling water, 2 tsps ‘biji selasih’ or basil seed, 100g large Sago pearls, Ice cubes

【Method】
1.Wash the ‘biji selasih’ in running tap water, and then soak with 2-3 tbsp hot water until plump up, use as needed.
2.Bring 2 litres water to a rolling boil, add the sago balls & cook over medium heat for 30 minutes. Turn off heat & close the lid. Let the sago balls sit for 20 minutes, until all the sago turns clear. Should the sago, still have white centers, bring the pot to a boil & cover its lid again.
3.Drain the sago balls in a colander, rinse in running tap water & drain. Set aside.
4.In a jug/ cup, pour the blackcurrant tea & add hot boiling water to dissolve the granules.
5.Place 1 heaped tablespoon sago pearls, some plumped up ‘biji selasih’ into a serving glass.
6.Add ice cubes & pour the blackcurrant tea over.
