500g Jicama, 400g pork ribs, 35g dried shrimp, 1 stalk spring onion, 1 tsp Chinese cooking wine, 1.5 liter water
Dash of salt and MSG
1.Wash dried shrimp and then soak in water with 1⁄2½ tsp rice wine until soften.
2.Peel Jicama and cut into pieces; blanch ribs in boiling water and drain.(pic 1-3)
3.Heat some oil in wok, sauté dried shrimp and spring onion until fragrant, add in Chinese cooking wine, water and jicama and bring to boil.(pic 4-6)
4.Turn to low heat and simmer for about 1 hour.(pic 7)
