鲜淮山玉米糕Fresh Burdock Root Cake

【材料】
马蹄粉450克、水1000毫升、白糖380克、玉米粒150克、鲜淮山150克

【做法】
1.以300毫升水与马蹄粉拌匀待用。(图1)
2.鲜淮山去皮切丁。(图2-3)
3.将剩余的700毫升水加入白糖、玉米粒及鲜淮山煮滚。(图 4-5)
4.把马蹄粉浆徐徐过滤入以上材料中搅拌均匀,煮至成浓稠及呈透明状态。(图 6-7)
5.把浓稠混合料倒入己抹油的蒸盘中,蒸约20分钟即可取出,待凉切块享用。(图8)

450g water chestnut powder, 1000ml water, 380g sugar, 150g corn kernel, 150g fresh burdock root

【Method】
1.Mix water chestnut powder with 300ml water.(pic 1)
2.Peel fresh burdock root and then diced.(pic 2-3)
3.Mix the remaining 700ml water with sugar, corn kernel and fresh burdock root in a wok, bring the mixture to a boil. (pic 4-5)
4.Pour in the water chestnut batter, stir during boiling until the mixture become thicken and transparent.(pic 6-7)
5.Pour cooked batter into greased tray, steam for 20 minutes; let cool down before slice to serve.(pic 8)
