五香芋丝糕 Spiced Yam Cake

【材料】
A:芋头450克、生粉30克、盐1⁄2茶匙、五香粉1茶匙、鸡精粉1茶匙、胡椒粉少许、麻油1汤匙、水3汤匙
B:红萝卜丝20克、虾米30克(爆香)、芫茜1棵、葱酥1⁄2小碗
【做法】
1.将芋头与红萝卜切丝备用。(图1-2)
2.把材料A全部混合均匀,以大火蒸1⁄2小时至熟,取出压实。(图3-6)
3.红萝卜丝加入1⁄2汤匙生粉捞匀,铺在芋头糕上再压紧,继续蒸5分钟。(图7-8)
4.取出待凉后切块,煎两面至香。
5.把虾米、葱酥及芫茜撒面上即可。

【Ingredients】
A:450g yam (juliennes), 30g corn flour, 1⁄2 tsp salt,1 tsp 5 spiced powder, 1 tsp chicken powder,
dash of pepper, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 3 tbsp water
B:20g juliennes carrot, 30g dried shrimp (deep fried), 1 stalk coriander, 1⁄2 bowl shallot flake
【Method】
1.Juliennes yam and carrot.(pic 1-2)
2.Combine all ingredients A and steam for 1⁄2 hour or until cooked, remove from steamer, press firmly. (pic 3-6)
3. Mix carrot with 1⁄2 tbsp corn flour, spread over yam cake, press firmly again and continue to
steam for 5 minutes.(pic 7-8)
3.Cut into small piece after cooling down and then sear in pan until fragrant.
4.Sprinkle dried shrimp, shallot flake and coriander on top to serve.
