人参鸡 Ginseng Chicken

材料 :
童子鸡1只、人参2根、糯米2汤匙、红枣5粒、栗子4粒、白果6粒、蒜头6瓣、姜一小块、青葱5条
调味料 :
盐和胡椒粉适量
做法 :
❶ 把鸡从里到外处理干净,可以选择把皮剥掉。
❷ 把糯米洗净后泡水1小时。
❸ 将糯米、蒜头及1条人参塞入鸡肚,然后以绳子绑紧。(图1-4)
❹ 把鸡放入煲里,倒入约4杯水,然后放入另1条人参、栗子、红枣、白果及姜片,以中火煮40分
钟。(图5-7)
❺ 一旦煮熟后,去掉姜片,加入盐和胡椒粉调味。

INGREDIENTS :
1 whole small chicken, 2 ginseng roots, 2 tbsp glutinous rice, 5 red dates, 4 chestnuts, 6pcs Gingko, 6 cloves garlic, a small piece of ginger, 5 spring onions
SEASONING:
Same Salt and pepper
METHOD :
❶ Remove and clean the inside of the chicken. You may skin the chicken if preferred.
❷ Wash the glutinous rice, soak about an hour.
❸ Stuff the glutinous rice, garlic and ginseng into the chicken. Sew the ends and tie with string. (pic 1-4)
❹ Place the chicken in a pot and pour in 4 cups water. Place the Ginseng root, chestnuts, dates, Gingko and ginger in the pot and cook under medium heat for 40 minutes. (pic 5-7)
❺ Once cooked, remove ginger and season with salt and pepper.
