食油65克、黄糖80克、盐1/2茶匙、糖浆125毫升、A蛋1粒、剁碎苹果90克、普通面粉240克(筛过) 、发粉1 1/2茶匙、平原果醋1/2杯、姜糖晶50克(剁碎)
Ingredients (Serves 12)
65g corn /vegetable oil
80g brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 “Grade A” egg
90g chopped apples
240g plain flour, sifted
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 cup Savanna Cider
50g crystalised ginger , chopped
20g castor sugar
2 tbsps corn flour
1 bottle Savanna cider 10 oz
10″ Bundt pan(greased)
1.To prepare apples: cook chopped apples in a non-stick pan/saucepan cook apples with 1 Tbsp butter till limp. Leave to cool and use as above.
2.Preheat oven to 180*C. Grease Bundt pan with vegetable oil & dust with some extra flour, set aside.
3.Whisk oil, sugar, salt, molasses, and egg in large bowl to blend until sugar dissolves.
4.Mix in sifted dry ingredients & crystalised ginger.
5.Whisk in SAVANNA CIDER until just combined.
6.Pour batter into prepared pan (batter will fill only half of pan).
7.Bake cake in pre-heated oven, until tester inserted near center comes out clean, about 25 -35 minutes. Cool in pan 30 minutes then invert cake onto platter and cool to lukewarm, at least 15 minutes.
8.Serve cake with sauce.
Whisk sugar and cornstarch in heavy small saucepan to blend. Gradually whisk in Savanna cider. Whisk over medium heat until sauce boils and thickens, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
